Retail AI Training:
Sud Express gathers its entire headquarters around Claude
Sud Express, a women's ready-to-wear brand with 95 stores in France, brought together its entire headquarters for an AI training day dedicated to Claude. Marketing, HR, Finance, Purchasing, Controlling, Management: each department discovered, in real-world conditions, how AI concretely changes their daily work. This retail AI training was not an overview of market tools - it was a full day on Claude, from A to Z: Claude Chat, Artifacts, Projects, Skills. And for each team, live use cases were produced, ready for immediate use the next day.

The client
Sud Express is a French women's ready-to-wear brand founded in 1987, with 95 owned stores across the country. Positioned in the accessible-premium segment, it targets women aged 25 to 45 and relies on regularly refreshed seasonal collections, with a strong Parisian identity and an active omnichannel network — boutiques, department store concessions, and e-commerce.
The challenge
Training 8 departments in AI in a single day, without leaving anyone behind
Bringing together profiles as diverse as controlling, purchasing, management, and marketing teams in one place to train them in generative AI in a single day is as much a pedagogical challenge as it is an organizational one. The objective: for each employee to leave with concrete use cases rooted in their professional reality, not just another general presentation.
Departments with radically different needs
Marketing, HR, finance, purchasing, management, controlling: each team's expectations were distinct. The training had to resonate with everyone without getting lost in generalities — and show, for each department, what Claude truly changes.
Going beyond the basic use of ChatGPT
Most employees had already heard of AI, and some used it occasionally. The challenge wasn't to start from scratch, but to go where no one had gone before: advanced Claude Chat, Artifacts, Projects, Skills — everything most users have never explored.
Produce real deliverables, not just demonstrations
The goal wasn't to show what AI can do in theory. It was to produce, live with the teams, directly usable deliverables: job descriptions, executive memos, promotional slides, market studies — ready for use the next day.
Convince management with facts
Beyond the operational teams, the day also aimed to convince management. The highlight: demonstrating in real-time that Claude can analyze BI files, cross-reference multiple data sources, and produce an executive committee memo in minutes.

Our approach
Our AI retail training program
AI Sisters designed a day for Sud Express that was 100% focused on Claude — not an overview of the AI tool market, but a complete immersion in a single tool mastered from end to end. The day was structured in two parts: a plenary session to lay common foundations, followed by live business demonstrations to anchor each learning point in the teams' daily reality.
1. Introduction to Generative AI and Security
How LLMs work, essential vocabulary, an overview of market models, confidentiality levels, and security best practices. A common foundation so that every employee understands what they are using — and what they shouldn't put into it.
Tools: Claude — ChatGPT — Microsoft Copilot
2. Claude and the Art of Prompting — AI Sisters Method
The AI Sisters 6-dimensional prompting method: Role, Context, Task, Goal, Constraints, Tone. Examples applied directly to Sud Express's business functions. Fine-tuning, reverse prompting, temperature principle. Participants leave with a reproducible method, not just copy-pasted prompts.
Tools: Claude Chat — Claude Projects — Claude Skills
3. AI Showcase by Business Function — Deliverables Produced Live
The core of the day: reviewing each business function and producing the corresponding deliverables in real-world conditions. HR, Finance, Marketing, Management — each team saw their specific use case addressed in front of them, using their own data and constraints.
Tools: Claude Chat — Claude Artifacts — Claude Projects — Claude Skills
4. Advanced AI Tools and Roadmap
Beyond Claude: image generation with Nanobanana and Midjourney, application generation with Lovable, advanced web search with Perplexity. And for each team, a clear vision of what comes next — business function workshops, service by service.

Use cases
AI Use Cases in Retail and Ready-to-Wear
During this day, the Sud Express teams produced deliverables live, directly stemming from their real-world business cases. Here's an overview of the concrete applications generated during the training — all operational from the very next day.
Human Resources
→ Write a job description for a Marais Boutique Manager in 3 minutes, including non-negotiable requirements, the right tone, and selection criteria — ready to publish
→ Sort and pre-qualify CVs by sending profiles to Claude with a grid of professional criteria
→ Write a store visit report email via Claude's voice mode, directly from the field
Finance and Management Control
→ Analyze omnichannel performance by channel and region (Retail, Tablet, E-reservation, E-commerce, Store-to-Web) from raw BI exports
→ Compare collections season by season — revenue, % share, PVM, markdown — and produce 3 recommendations ready for purchasing
→ Benchmark Sud Express performance against the apparel panel and automatically generate the "Market Context" paragraph for the monthly management report
Marketing and Communication
→ Write the boutique managers' brief for the summer sales in a readable and actionable email that they can apply in 2 minutes
→ Create a weekly promotional board ready to send to all 95 boutiques — without needing a graphic designer
→ Generate an Instagram carousel to announce the sales, in the Sud Express editorial style
→ Generate a photo shoot from a product sheet with Nanobanana — front, back, profile, material detail views
Management and Development
→ Conduct a market study for a new store opening — potential analysis, direct competition, GO / WATCH / PASS recommendation in 5 minutes
→ Build an interactive web application for decision support to arbitrate a point of sale opening, presentable to the executive committee
→ Cross-reference multiple data sources (BI files, market panel) and produce an executive summary note in minutes
