AI training for CSR teams: the AI Show and Promptathon for Accor’s Sustainability Department
On Thursday 9 July 2026, Accor’s Sustainability Department brought together 35 to 45 employees at Accor in Issy-les-Moulineaux for a full day of AI training with AI Sisters.
In the morning, a three-hour AI Show covered the fundamentals of prompting, explored ESG use cases and built good confidentiality habits. In the afternoon, a three-hour Promptathon was run entirely on Accor GPT, the group’s in-house AI.
The scenario: work as a team to produce a “Water Reduction 2026” activation kit for regions, brands and hotels. A real business topic, handled end to end in one afternoon by non-technical teams.

The client
Accor is an international hospitality group.
Its Sustainability Department brings together 35 to 45 employees across 6 teams, including Diversity-Disability-Inclusion, Marketing, Sustainable Energy and Performance.
The teams already have Accor GPT, the group’s in-house AI, the Claude add-ins for Excel and PowerPoint and Claude Code.
The challenge
Moving from scattered usage to AI habits that serve ESG roles
The tools were there. Practices were far less consistent: some employees were advanced users, others stuck to translation or search.
The challenge set for AI Sisters: not to introduce AI, but to find concrete ideas for building it into the day-to-day work of ESG roles.
Very mixed levels
In the same room, advanced users and colleagues who only used it for translation.
The goal: gradual upskilling that brings everyone along without leaving anyone behind.
Tools already rolled out, uses still to invent
Accor GPT, the Claude add-ins for Excel and PowerPoint, Claude Code: the equipment was in place.
What was missing were concrete use cases for Sustainability roles.
Confidentiality and critical thinking
Knowing what sets Accor GPT apart from public tools, having the right reflexes before sharing a document, spotting hallucinations and made-up figures.
On ESG topics, data reliability is non-negotiable.
Your CSR teams already have the tools, but not yet the same habits? That is exactly where this day at Accor started.
Our approach
Our AI training programme for Accor’s CSR teams
A full day in two parts.
First the fundamentals, role-specific use cases and good confidentiality practice. Then the production of concrete deliverables for the Sustainability teams, in real-life conditions.
The AI Show: prompting fundamentals

Three hours in the morning, led by Titouan Faure.
What generative AI brings to Sustainability teams (monitoring, benchmarking, summarising, analysis, materials), the six elements of a good prompt (role, context, task, goal, constraints and format, tone) and the working method: prompt in several steps, challenge the answer, ask for sources.
Role-specific use cases and confidentiality rules
Demonstrations based on the department’s real uses: monitoring hotel sustainability, analysing documents, producing materials, creating reusable assistants.
Then the framework: the difference between Accor GPT and public tools, reflexes before sharing a document, critical thinking, responsible use and the environmental impact of AI.
The Promptathon: 7 groups, 6 missions, 100% Accor GPT

Three hours in the afternoon, in 7 groups, each led by an Accor Tech Leader and supported by Judith and Anouk from AI Sisters.
Participants play Accor’s Sustainability team and work through six missions, from the scoping note to the decision deck, using only Accor GPT.
The wrap-up: sharing what works

At the end of the session, each team presents its work.
Group feedback, sharing of reusable good practice and the award of Promptathon Champions certificates.
A Promptathon is built around your business topic and your in-house AI: your challenges, your tools, your confidentiality rules.

Use cases
AI use cases in a Sustainability Department
The common thread of the afternoon: a “Water Reduction 2026” activation kit to speed up the reduction of water consumption in hotels, with an approach that is simple to understand, easy to roll out and useful on the ground.
Here is what the teams produced, and what they saw in the morning.
Scope and find inspiration
→ Write a strategic scoping note: context, 2026 objective, target audiences, success criteria.
→ Build an inspiration benchmark: 5 sourced initiatives from hospitality or comparable sectors, what can be transferred to Accor, 3 ideas to test.
Prioritise and equip the field
→ Build a prioritisation grid: scoring criteria, prioritisation table, top 5 recommended actions.
→ Write an operational hotel guide: self-assessment checklist, actions by team (General Managers, housekeeping, maintenance, kitchen), 30-day plan, mini FAQ.
Convince and get a decision
→ Produce an 8-slide decision deck for a regional management team or a brand, with the expected decision, the risks and the next steps.
Everyday uses seen during the AI Show
→ Monitoring and benchmarking on hotel sustainability.
→ Document analysis: summarising a roadmap, comparing several documents.
→ Producing materials: decision-focused deck, operational guide, tracking template.
→ Reusable assistants for benchmarking and preparing weekly meetings.
