This week, AI Sisters launched a new Generative AI coaching program with IPSEN, on the occasion of their annual seminar in Brussels, with 80 employees from the Finance teams coming from all over Europe.

Objective: Explore how generative AI can strengthen analysis, structure thinking, and accelerate decision-making, while maintaining the requirements specific to pharmaceutical finance professions.

An immersive and pragmatic kick-off

The program started with a 2-hour immersive kick-off, where the teams Finance, management control, strategy, procurement and financial management have explored the concrete contributions of AI in their daily lives. A real boost to understand the practical uses of AI in demanding pharmaceutical jobs.

Concrete use cases for demanding pharmaceutical challenges 💉

🔬 Follow the trends of partnerships in oncology and biotech

The teams used Perplexity to detect 5 recent strategic alliances between European biotech and Big Pharma. This monitoring made it possible to identify weak signals, key positions, and to enrich partnership-based thinking.

💰 Analyzing differences in Excel... without spending 3 hours

Thanks to AI, IPSEN was able to generate explicit charts from a complex Excel file, including items such as volumes, prices, forecasts, and actual values. The insights extracted were ready to be shared with management committees, and immediate time savings for teams.

📄 Producing an executive note from the graphs

Each graph created was integrated into a Word pro document, with clear summaries, oriented to the decision (risks, opportunities, points of attention). One Time saver for the teams, while respecting rigorous standards.

📧 Writing a multilingual email for an AI seminar

The teams also used AI to write a multilingual invitation email (FR/EN/NL) to invite Finance teams to an AI seminar. This was a direct demonstration of the use of AI for improve internal communication.
